Keto Fried Saimin

Welcome to Hawaiian Keto Girl, my little piece of the internet where I share keto friendly, low carb, and sugar free recipes inspired by growing up around Hawaii’s unique cuisine. Today’s recipe is keto fried saimin! I am so excited about today’s recipe because it is one that was highly requested and I worked really hard on this one! I hope you enjoy it.

First off, lets talk about the noodles! The noodles are the key/star ingredient here! As well as the bouillon, but more on that later. Your choice of noodles will make or break the recipe. If you are restricting your carbs and your goal is weight loss, then I suggest using Shirataki noodles, also known as glass noodles and konjac noodles. These are essentially zero net carbs! However, if you are in the weight maintenance phase of life and can afford a little more carbs, then go ahead and live a little by using tofu noodles! I used tofu noodles in the YouTube video, but I usually make this recipe with Shirataki noodles.

Here are the macros per serving for this recipe (this recipe yields 8 servings):

I think the hardest ingredient to source for this recipe is a keto friendly, sugar free bouillon. Well, I’ve done the research and found a wonderful keto friendly, sugar free, delicious dry bouillon. Click here for the amazon link!
